I create porcelain earrings, pendants, bookmarks, pins, and ornaments using underglaze transfers. Each pair is modern, playful, and a little bit silly, bringing a sense of humor and personality to a timeless material. They are small-scale pieces of wearable art that balance craftsmanship with fun.

My work is unique because it combines fine art techniques, like working with porcelain and underglaze, with an approachable, whimsical sensibility. I don’t take myself too seriously, and that joy and lightness come through in each piece. It’s ceramic work that doesn't ask to be put on a pedestal; it just wants to be worn and enjoyed.

 

As a maker, I am intuitive, experimental, and constantly evolving. I have spent years fostering creativity in others as an art teacher, and returning to the studio has reconnected me with my own creative instincts. I value process as much as product, and I am always open to play and exploration in my work.

 

My creativity is driven by a lifelong love for making, teaching, and finding joy in small things. Whether I’m in the classroom or the studio, I am fueled by curiosity and a desire to bring creativity into everyday life.
